After a rather difficult start with its season cancellation, the Wizard of Odd finally took to the stage early January 2015, to great applause.
A play written by Claire Demmer, directed by Wendy Brehm and Els De Bundel, this panto focused on a modern day Dorothy living in London, transported to the Land of Odd, where she meets the fabulous Dame of the North and has to defeat the Wicked Witch of the West with the help of the brainless Scarecrow, a Tin Man who lost his heart, and a Lion who has lost her Mojo.
This panto was a fun filled musical version of the traditional movie, complete with Broadway Musical numbers that got the cast and audience tapping their feet right into the new year.
From our side it was truly a wonderful experience for us to bring you yet another successful pantomime. We absolutely love what we do and following our motto of ‘Just Do It’ – we did it cast and crew! So proud of you and love you always! To our loyal supporters and patrons, thank you for your love and support and we look forward to entertaining you again soonest.
— Els De Bundel, Wendy Brehm and Carri Lyons

What a cracker of a performance of the Wizard of Odd on Saturday evening. I saw it before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it and was pleased to see subtle changes this time around to make it even more entertaining. The choreography, singing and performance was first class from the entire cast. The new lighting brought the show to life and the enthusiasm and joy of the cast made it a night to remember.
