The time has arrived and we are ready and rearing to open with a bang (pun intended) this Friday night! Come and enjoy a good laugh and witness some crazy action onstage. Show dates are 27th & 28th July, and 3rd & 4th August, 7 for 7.30pm.

CHARITY DRIVE
Our chosen charity for this year is Baby Moses Child Sanctuary and we would like to run a charity drive for them in conjunction with our ongoing collection of 10% of the year’s ticket sales. Franklin Players will be participating in Protea Stage Production’s “HANG:10” festival taking place in Benoni on the 21st of September.
This is a wonderful opportunity for those who weren’t cast in our mid-year production as well as anyone keen to act but not able to fully commit to the time demands that come with a full length production.
AUDITIONS & CALLBACKS
A new round of auditions is taking place on Wednesday 8th August at 7.30pm. Those who have already been cast must also come along for callbacks so we can allocate casts to scripts and finalise the rehearsal schedule. Rehearsals kick off on Sunday 12th August.
Our resident playwright has been penning at a furious pace so there’s an even bigger pool of scripts to go around. Don’t miss out, this is going to be fun!

Protea will be hosting their first inter-societal “HANG:10” festival of 10-minute plays this September the 21st and 22nd. Franklin is excited to be participating in this event and rehearsals begin on Sunday 12th August.

EADS’ year-end panto is “FROZEN, The Next Chapter” and their rehearsals are already in full swing. Show dates are 27th October, and 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th November.
