A Franklin Players Production 2 - 10 September 2005
A Comedy Tonight
A comedy showcase, highlighting the various styles of comedy from cunning wit to slapstick. The production consists of plays, skits and songs guaranteed to make you laugh out loud and cry for more.

We have "Albert", a comedy of miscommunication where three foreigners end up in a house together, unable to understand anything that anyone is saying.

Then there is "Mac the Knife, Men in Skirts (the other Scottish play)" - a hilarious send-up of Macbeth, complete with witches, apparitions, traffic cops, sangomas, Romeo and Juliet and a death-defying sword fight at the end.

Amongst these two plays are woven many skits and songs from the likes of Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson and Tom Learer. You'll never be able to feed pigeons in the park without giggling after this one.
