October News

Halloween is here

The wind forces open the curtained window. Candles snuff out in the darkness. And a shiver cascades down your spine. Nope, it’s just your imagination. But something is stalking your computer or TV screen, primed to kill your free time… It’s our big list of the best all time horror movies…

The wonder of seeing the unknown has always been the luring temptation of movies. And so the horror feels especially close to this medium, a genre that exposes the audience beyond the normal, and into death. And if you are in the habit of waiting until October to do all your scary watching, the collection of frights below will deliver all manner of jumps and spinal shudders.

So, whether you are in the mood for the horror of a traditional slasher, post-modern frightism or psychological nightmares, this is a collection – in our opinion – of some of the very best scary movies to grace the silver screen. So if you are ready to cower behind your pillows and sofa cushions, wondering whether you actually locked the door, then this is probably the list for you.
