The first Franklin Workshop will take place this Sunday 3 February, from 10am to 12.30. If you are involved in the One Act Festival in any way, you need to be there! We’ll be looking at ‘The Rehearsal Process’ and it can only benefit your upcoming plays! Anyone else is also invited 🙂

All the workshops will be on acting-related topics. The schedule is:

3 Feb – Rehearsal Process
17 Feb – Directing 101
3 March – Characterisation Styles
17 March – Improvisation
31 March – Revision

The workshops are free of charge, yes FREE! If you are a paid up Franklin member 2013 then you will receive the booklet for free. If not, you will have to pay R50 for the booklet. Please bring your own pen to make notes.

The 2 and a half hour session will give time for a break and possibly some rehearsal time of individual plays so everyone can bring snacks and drinks and their scripts.  Also, dress comfortably as the workshops will involve practical activities.
