2017 Charity Choice
After a rather dismal voting turnout for our online poll (huge thanks to those who took the time and effort to “click click” – all 11 of you…), our chosen charity for 2017 will be (drum roll please)… Barking Mad – Dogtown SA !!!
Go check them out at barkingmad.co.za – a truly worthy cause so let’s make some money in support of our furry friends.

We are super stoked to announce that Franklin’s branding is to undergo a modern facelift!!

Tips
Warm ups are a great way to get everyone in the right mental, emotional and physical space before starting to rehearse. As such, each month we will be featuring a different warm up technique / game for cast members to try before rehearsals! Have fun with it!
Warm Up of the Month: Murder Winks
- One person waits outside the room.
- The remaining cast form a circle and close their eyes.
- The director selects one cast member to be the murderer by squeezing them on the shoulder.
- Everyone opens their eyes and the person waiting outside is let into the room and circle.
- The person in the centre of the circle has three chances to guess who the murderer might be.
- The murderer’s job is to wink at different people around the circle. As each person gets winked at they must die an active, dramatic death.
You might also like to try having the entire cast guess who the murderer is rather than one particular person.
